Courses for Education

TTC delivers a complete range of learning and development courses to schools, colleges and universities that are designed to engage, challenge and improve all students. These courses cover 4 broad areas based upon preventative interventions: personal development, drug & alcohol awareness, cycling & walking and driver training, however, the content can be completely tailored to your school, college or university’s requirements, and your unique set of challenges.

Personal Development

K2P is an innovative and unique combination of equipment, activities and online support videos designed and delivered to engage, challenge and improve the performance of all young people. Through these activities young people develop a range of core competencies including trust, communication and responsibility, vital skills for the modern workplace. Driver Training

With around 20% of newly qualified drivers involved in an incident less than a year after passing their driving test, there is an important role for schools, colleges and universities to play in educating young people to drive safety.

As one of the UK’s leading champions of road safety TTC has developed a range of driver related training courses for young people, which address the issues of driving with distractions (mobile phones etc) and drink driving.

These workshops provide young drivers with an enhanced appreciation of how distractions and alcohol and/or drugs can negatively effect their driving. To learn more visit our Workplace Road Safety website.

Drug & Alcohol Awareness

This course examines the use of drugs and alcohol by young people in the broadest sense and is therefore relevant to any young person. Our Drug & Alcohol Awareness courses cover some of the material in our young driver courses in relation to drinking and driving, however this course is much wider as it also examines:

  • The longer term effects of drinking;
  • The potential risks to you and others in alcohol fuelled situations;
  • Alcohol Units;
  • How to identify risk situations.

The course is interactive and held in a relaxed environment.

Cycling & Walking Training

As the UK’s leading cycle training and cycling promotion specialist, TTC delivers nationally accredited cycling and walking programmes and workshops to help to get more children and adults cycling more safely and more often.  TTC believes that it is never too early to start cycling and walking training, beginning with Balanceability cycle training and safe walking practices in early years, as fine motor skills are developed.  Once at school pupils can move on to developing safe cycling practices by taking one of TTC’s Bikeability qualifications and also take part in walking safely to school programmes, as they gain independence.  TTC’s cycle training is not just for school children but also adults, as we deliver valuable cycle training to people who cycle to work.
