Courses for The Criminal Justice Service
As a leading provider of learning and development training TTC’s courses are not only relevant to individuals and teams working within the Criminal Justice sector, but also to offenders.
TTC’s learning and development courses, including K2P (Key 2 Potential) and our Alcohol and Drug Awareness training courses, can help to tackle the underlying causes of crime and offending, and can play an important role in rehabilitating offenders.
K2P for Offenders
K2P is an innovative and unique combination of equipment, activities and online support videos designed and delivered by our trained faciltators to engage, challenge and improve performance, helping offenders to adapt to life and to gain employment once they leave prison.
Drug & Alcohol Awareness Training for Offenders
There is a clear correlation between the misuse of drugs and alcohol and crime, with alcohol or drug related offences including falling into three broad categories:
- The possession, use, distribution and production of drugs (for example the growing and selling of marijuana);
- Breaking the law as a result of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol (for example anti-social behaviour, criminal damage, drink driving);
- Living a lifestyle where a person may not have a job or source of income and is exposed to situations and individuals that encourage crime (for example acquisitive crime to fund drug/alcohol dependence);
Drug and Alcohol Awareness training can play a key role in breaking the cycle of drug and alcohol use and crime.
TTC’s services extend well beyond delivering the required training, through our Contact Centre Services division we can include the delivery of a complete middle and back office solution including the management of people and cases, tracking and reporting interventions to deliver measurable outcomes.
